We are seeking an outstanding Senior Engineer/ Leads who bring the experience of building LARGE distributed systems and solving sophisticated problems.

HOW you'll SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
As part of this core development team, you will design and build massively distributed systems at web-scale. You will be building the core backend of the Cohesity Data Platform and Cohesity SpanFS (limitless Filesystem).

WED LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

8+ years of experience in infrastructure and backend systems engineering, building and operating production-grade services at scale.
bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design; Masters degree is a plus.
Proven experience designing, building, and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems in production environments.
Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, synchronization, and parallel execution in real-world systems.
Expert-level programming, debugging, and performance optimization skills in C, C++, Go, or Java.
Hands-on experience with distributed storage, filesystems, or object storage architectures is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to debug, diagnose, and resolve complex production issues, including system-level failures and data correctness problems.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment, independently drive ambiguous problems to resolution, and own end-to-end delivery of critical projects.
Strong technical communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across teams and influence engineering direction.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and support high-quality decision-making .
