Role Overview

As a Node.js Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What You ll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Design and optimize MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization (JWT/OAuth).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.

Youll Shine Here If You

• Possess strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript with experience in Express.js or NestJS
• Understand REST APIs, backend architecture, SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), & Redis caching
• Follow secure development practices, including authentication, authorization, and application security
• Are comfortable working with Docker, Git, unit testing frameworks (Jest/Mocha), and modern development workflows
• Have exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), GraphQL, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes
• Thrive in Agile/Scrum environments while applying strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Can independently build scalable, maintainable backend solutions with clean, efficient, and well-tested code
