Job Description
- Holds Bachelors / Masters in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience gained within an engineering discipline, ideally.
- Within an aerospace environment and in multi-disciplinary engineering project teams.
- (Design/Analysis, Testing Manufacturing).
- Expert Proficiency in creating 3D models, 2D Definition in Siemens TeamCenter and NX.
- Expert Proficiency in creating 3D Models, 2D product drawings independently.
- Expert Knowledge and Application of GDT (ASME Y14.5)
- Expert Knowledge in stack-up analysis.
- Knowledge of modelling composite structures preferably in NX.
- Knowledge and exposure to component change management processes.
- Experience in Model Based Definition (MBD/ PMI) methods.
- Experience in definition and design of jet engine components, detailed model Preparations.
- Strong understanding of gas turbine engine layouts and familiarity with jet engine Components and engine assemblies.
