Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing, along with hands-on experience in Automation Testing.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of customer-facing web applications by validating end-to-end business workflows, system integrations, and overall user experience. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product owners, business stakeholders, and client teams.

Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves active participation in discussions, requirement analysis, defect triaging, and status reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on requirements.
• Perform manual testing for web-based applications across multiple business workflows.
• Validate end-to-end customer journeys, including service comparison, selection, checkout, and service transfer processes.
• Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke Testing, and UAT support.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts for repetitive and critical business scenarios.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release validation activities.
• Ensure product quality and release readiness in Agile delivery environments.

Required Technical Skills

Manual Testing

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Excellent understanding of:
  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • System Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • End-to-End Workflow Validation

Automation Testing

Hands-on experience in at least one automation framework/tool:

• Selenium
• Cypress
• Playwright

Additional expectations:

• Ability to create and maintain automation scripts
• Good scripting/programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript

API Tools

• Experience in API Testing
• Hands-on experience with Postman or similar tools
• Knowledge of defect tracking and project management tools such as JIRA
• Version control knowledge using Git
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plus

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing customer-facing web applications
• Experience validating third-party integrations / service provider integrations
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Exposure to release management and production validation
