Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior QE Automation Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale test automation frameworks across UI, API, Data, Cloud, and AI-enabled applications.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python, Playwright, Pytest, API automation, SQL validation, AWS services, CI/CD integration, and modern quality engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, Data, and Cloud applications using Playwright, Python, and Pytest.
- Develop and execute UI automation suites using Playwright with Page Object Model (POM) architecture.
- Build comprehensive API automation covering functional, contract, schema, authentication, and negative testing.
- Perform data validation and ETL testing across Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS Glue, S3, and Snowflake.
- Develop automated tests for AWS Lambda, S3 events, and Step Functions using Pytest and boto3.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Implement quality gates, test reporting, and shift-left testing practices.
- Collaborate with development, cloud, and data engineering teams to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.
- Drive automation best practices, reusable framework development, and test data management strategies.
Required Skills
- 6-8 years of Quality Engineering / Test Automation experience
- Strong expertise in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with Pytest and automation framework development
- Strong Playwright experience (Python or TypeScript)
- REST API automation testing
- Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL & Snowflake)
- Experience with AWS services:
- Lambda
- S3
- Glue
- Step Functions
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)
- Contract Testing & Schema Validation
- Experience with boto3 automation
