Senior System Administrator PLM Engineering, Epiroc

We are now looking for a System Administrator with deep knowledge in Siemens Teamcenter to strengthen our team.
Your mission
As a System Administrator at Epiroc Operations Solutions in the PLM Engineering Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our Siemens Teamcenter environment.
You will manage system configurations, maintain integrations, and support end-users to ensure reliable and efficient PLM operations.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Deploying, configuring, administrating, and maintaining the Siemens Teamcenter platform
- Monitoring and ensuring performance, availability, and security of PLM systems
- Creating and maintaining installation packages for distribution to users
- Supporting upgrades, patches, and integrations in close collaboration with IT and Engineering teams.
- Troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing preventive solutions
- Work with Siemens Support to troubleshoot complex issues related to the Epiroc customized installation of Teamcenter
- Automating administrative tasks through scripting (PowerShell, Shell, or Python)
- Documenting configurations, processes, and best practices
- Participating in agile ceremonies and actively contributing to continuous improvement
This role is part of an agile, cross-functional team within Epiroc’s Operations Solutions organization, where collaboration and proactive problem-solving are key.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Deep knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter and experience in PLM administration
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments and databases (e.g. SQL)
- At least basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Shell, or Python) for automation and maintenance
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles
- Experience working in agile teams and comfort with iterative, collaborative development
- A structured, responsible, and proactive mindset – you take initiative, see what needs to be done, and make it happen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; you lead yourself and inspire others through your actions
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
