To Manage a team consisting of Marine or Mechanical Engineers (JMEs), Process Associate and Data Entry personnel for creation of Ships PMS (Planned Maintenance System) databases.
To Communicate with Maritime clients regarding the Project Status, timelines, and other issues if any.
To Work on various Maritime, Shipping, Oil and Gas PMS, (Planned Maintenance System), projects.
To Guide JMEs regarding the process of updating and amending the system Database as required.
To Review and if necessary guide to correct and consolidate the database content.
To Create or amend Work Procedures as required.
To Monitor Team s work schedules and amend as required.
To Prepare and present reports for Ship Managers, Superintendents and Senior Management.
To Report to and liaise closely with the Valad s Operations General Managers.
To Propose and manage system changes and improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Degree in Marine Engineering.
At least 6 months in the rank of 3rd Engineer with good machinery knowledge of ships.
Hands on experience in PMS software s like AMOS, Sertica, Shipnet, DNV-GL, KAPA, Ship manager & NS5.
Well-versed with Marine Equipment and its maintenance planning and strict compliance in the system.
Able to understand user requirements and the implementation of proposed Software.
A good understanding of the enterprise computing needs of ship management companies.
Provide technical support and training to office and vessel staff.
Have basic IT support ideas to assist vessel users on remote / Team Viewer calls.
Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis
A Team worker who can mentor and oversee a team of JMEs.
Good communication skills (English).
Good computer skills including MS office.
PMS or Doc Management Project experience such as extraction of data from manuals, drawings, documents, inventory records, PMS Database.
Able to provide remote troubleshooting & query resolution for PMS softwares.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Having an Indian CDC will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel to ships for inventory check visits for 2 weeks to 3 weeks.
