Sr. Manager - SAP ABAP

Job Summary : 

• Project based and Ticket based ABAP deliverables (New developments and changes in existing)
• Providing support to all functional SAP experts in terms of ABAP programming
• ABAP objects performance fine tuning and upgrades across the landscape
• Adopt new SAP development platforms
• New developments & monitoring for Interfaces between SAP & Third Party Applications (API based, SOAP web based, SFTP, Cloud based integration)
• Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity
• Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs independently.
• Project Management skills PMI/AGILE/PRINCE certification (Good to have).
• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP ABAP Programming Tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPscript, Smart Forms , LSMW , BDC Applications , BSP , ADOBE Forms , Workflow, Module 
• Application of OSS notes, SPDD, SPAU, Code Inspector & other tools. 
• SAP WEBDYNPRO (ABAP & JAVA Stack) skills are must.
• Strong object orientation experience
• SAP Fiori development experience is required including OData
• Gateway development
• ABAP On HANA : HANA Exposure with AMDP,CDS views
• HR ABAP 
• Good Training Skills
• Business process knowledge of SAP Modules such as MM,SD,PP,QM,CO, HR (PY, OM, PA, TM) & FI
• SAP ASAP methodology, SDLC Lifecycle 
• Express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing 
• Write clear and logical reports, program documentation, and instructions
• The following are considered strong assets: Manufacturing industry experience, JAVA stacks experience
• Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with administrators, staff, users, project consultants
• Good to have : Integration with Non SAP systems via RestAPI, SOAP API , SFTP etc.

Requirements

1. Education: 

• Min. Qualification Required - B.Sc. / B.Tech. / MBA
• Desired Qualification Required - M.Sc. / M.Tech. / SAP Certification

2. Experience: Minimum 5+ years experience in SAP-ABAP
