Sr. Manager - Procurement

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the organizations material management strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Develop & execute sourcing strategies for finished goods with cross functional team.
• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and ensure un-interrupted supply fulfilment.
• Build a resilient and agile supply chain capable of responding to market fluctuations.
• Drive digital transformation and automation across material planning and inventory management.

Material Planning

• Lead demand planning, material requirement planning (MRP), and production planning.
• Ensure timely material availability as per business plan.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Planning, Finance, and Logistics teams.

Inventory Management

• Optimize inventory while maintaining high service levels.
• Improve inventory turns and reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
• Define inventory policies, safety stock, reorder points, and replenishment models.
• Drive working capital improvement initiatives.

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationship. Partner with sourcing teams for vendor capacity planning and risk management.
• Monitor vendor performance using KPIs such as Quality, Cost, Delivery and Responsiveness.
• Conduct vendor audits and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with sourcing team for alternate sourcing strategies to minimize supply disruptions.

Cost & Process Excellence

• Achieve annual cost saving targets through strategic negotiations and process improvement.
• Drive procurement process standardization & digitalization.
• Implement digital dashboards and KPI monitoring.
• Improve procurement efficiency and material planning accuracy.

Risk Management

• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure business continuity through contingency planning.
• Monitor geopolitical, commodity, and logistics risks impacting supply.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Procurement Cost Saving.
• Working capital reduction
• OTD ( On-Time Delivery) & OTIF (On-Time In-Full)
• Vendor performance
• Forecast accuracy
• Schedule adherence
• NPD & Alternate vendor development.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech.
• MBA/Supply Chain specialization preferred.

Experience

• 1215 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain & Material Management,
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Automotive, Electronics, or Manufacturing industries.
• Strong exposure to SAP/ERP, S&OPand advanced planning systems.
