Sr Jewellery Store Manager

For a jewellery showroom, the Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the storenot just sales. They lead the team, ensure excellent customer service, manage operations, protect inventory, and achieve business targets.

Role & responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while driving overall store profitability.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff to improve performance and product knowledge.
• Ensure excellent customer experience by resolving complaints and building long-term customer relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and ensure accurate stock management.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening, closing, billing, and cash management.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, showroom cleanliness, and product presentation.
• Analyze daily sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve business performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with management, marketing, and inventory teams to execute promotions and improve store performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Retail Management or MBA is an added advantage.
• Jewellery retail experience is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in jewellery retail, with at least 2 years as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving store profitability.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of gold, diamond, and silver jewellery, inventory management, billing, and store operations.
• Proficient in MS Excel, POS systems, and retail management software.
• Fluent in Kannada and English; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to work during weekends and festive seasons.
