Job Description

We at Yusen Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. are hiring for Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager role for Gurgaon location.


Role & responsibilities


  • Handle nomination enquiries from overseas offices and branches, and prepare timely, accurate quotations for Air, Ocean (FCL/LCL), and multimodal shipments within the defined TAT.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Transport, Customs, and branch teams to obtain competitive rates and ensure seamless execution of nominated shipments.
  • Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, and customers regarding shipment requirements, Incoterms, routing, transit time, special handling, and quotation follow-up to maximize business conversion.
  • Ensure quotation quality and compliance by adhering to company SOPs, pricing guidelines, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor quotation performance, identify opportunities to improve the win ratio, and promptly escalate critical enquiries or operational issues to the reporting manager.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and timely execution of shipments.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Experience in handling Air Export & Ocean Export queries.
  • Experience in coordinating with overseas offices.
  • Excellent communication and email drafting skills.
  • Strong negotiation and coordination abilities.
  • Good knowledge of freight forwarding operations.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
