Area(s) of responsibility
Manual test Engineer
- 2-4 years of QA/testing experience
- Good to have PC insurance applications experience.
- Analyze business, functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Design and execute functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression testing for insurance applications and interfaces.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with requirements. Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using QA and ALM tools; participate actively in defect triage and resolution discussions.
- Provide accurate test execution status, defect metrics, and risk assessments to QA leadership and project stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in manual testing with solid understanding of test design techniques and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with QA tools such as Azure DevOps, or equivalent (tool usage referenced across QA documentation and practices).
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall delivery models.
- Experience in API testing with SOAP UI or equivalent tools
