Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes. You will work collaboratively with development and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure systems that support our business objectives.
What Youll Do
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Manage artifact repositories and dependencies using Nexus
- Administer and optimize containerized environments using OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Ansible
- Write and maintain automation scripts in Groovy, YAML, Shell, and other DevOps-related scripting languages
- Implement AI and automation ideas towards DevOps and platform engineering solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize performance
- Manage version control workflows using GitHub
- Ideate platform solutions & lead new initiatives
- Lead engineers to solve and automate operational & support challenges
What Were Looking For
- 5 7 years of Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
- Proficiency with Nexus for artifact and dependency management
- Strong experience (5 7 years) with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and automation
- Demonstrated expertise (5 7 years) in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes container orchestration
- Solid knowledge (5 years) of Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Programming/scripting proficiency (3 years) in Groovy, YAML, Shell, and other DevOps-related languages
- Experience with Jira for issue tracking and project management
- Familiarity with Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization best practices and Docker
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK, New Relic, Alertsite / synthetic monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with security scanning and compliance automation
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS, etc.)
