Sr Developer Power BI ( Immediate Joiner)

We are looking for a strong, independent Senior Power BI Developer (4-5 years of experience) with primary expertise in Power BI, solid SQL development skills, and hands-on experience with Databricks (MANDATORY). The individual is expected to own end-to-end delivery with minimal supervision and gradually support upcoming data transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Power BI Development Design and build interactive dashboards and reports, including robust data modelling and advanced DAX calculations.
• Dashboard & report design — interactive dashboards and paginated reports that turn complex data into actionable insight.
• Data modelling — star/snowflake schemas, relationships, and row-level security (RLS).
• Advanced DAX — complex measures, calculated columns, and time-intelligence logic.
• Performance tuning — query reduction, aggregations, fast load/refresh.
• Governance & publishing — workspaces, datasets, gateways, refreshes, sensitivity labels.
• Self-service enablement — reusable datasets, templates, and documentation.
• SQL Development — Write, optimise, and maintain SQL with complete end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle.
• End-to-end ownership — full lifecycle from analysis to support.
• Query & procedure development — complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions.
• Performance optimisation — indexing, execution-plan analysis, refactoring.
• Data quality & integrity — validation, reconciliation, error handling.
• ETL / data preparation — extraction, transformation, loading routines.
• Documentation & standards — coding standards, naming conventions, best practices.
• Databricks Engineering — Develop and manage Databricks-based data engineering and transformation pipelines.
