The individual will analyze data for informed decision-making, implement best practices, and oversee team performance. Essential Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business requirements and perform impact assessments.
- Lead sessions to define payment models, transaction models, data provisioning, data modeling, and software reporting capabilities, and utilize datasets for business recommendations.
- Partner with Data Technology teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
- Triage and drive the resolution of production issues.
- Oversee vital business processes within existing systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Highlight bugs and blockers, and coordinate with development and operations teams for resolution.
- Develop product performance dashboards and executive dashboards.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis and provide production support.
- Propose future state solutions and design scalable data solutions.
- Work with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications
Core Responsibilities
- Independent Challenge & Validation Critically evaluate the effectiveness of fraud strategies developed by the First Line of Defense.
- Fraud Risk Assessment Perform deep-dive analytics on transactional, Identity data to identify emerging fraud patterns and vulnerabilities that the first line fraud may have missed.
- Domain Knowledge Deep understanding of fraud typologies (e.g., account takeover, payment fraud, synthetic identity) and risk management frameworks
- Cross-Functional Consultation Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to advise senior leadership on the technical and business value of proposed risk controls.
Required Technical Skills
- Programming Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for extracting insights from large-scale datasets.
- Data Visualization Skilled in using tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Python libraries (Seaborn, Plotly) to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
