What Youll Do As a Data Engineer, you will bring to bear your outstanding AWS Cloud skills and Python development experience to build and support scalable, secure applications. You will technically follow software engineering guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable solutions. Your role will be pivotal in improving our AWS-based data pipelines and applications, working closely with senior engineers and tech leads to efficiently implement technical improvements. Your responsibilities will include crafting and maintaining technical documentation to support collaboration and communicating efficiently across teams to ensure perfect issue resolution. You will actively participate in code reviews, testing, and code deployment processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD workflows. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting apllications on Informatica, SSIS, SSRS. Handle On-Call Production Support You will demonstrate a strong learning approach, chipping in to a culture of continuous improvement. Your ability to handle on-call and production support tasks will be crucial in maintaining the reliability and performance of our data pipelines and applications Qualifications Who You Are Bachelors degree - Engineering (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) and 3+ years work experience or equivalent experience AWS (S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Glue Job, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Step Function) Python (Automation, Lambdas, scripts) + SQL Skills Copilot (GitHub / AWS Copilot CLI) Good to have :Informatica/ETL Data Skills Asset Management experience is preferred (not mandatory) Additional Information Why Choose Principal At Principal, we believe in nurturing talent and providing a collaborative environment where you can thrive.
