Key Responsibilities
Design and build scalable, multi-tenant systems on AWS (e.g. Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, ECS-Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, SageMaker) spanning data ingestion, transformation, backend services, APIs, and ML workflows
Build and maintain data pipelines that ingest, validate, and transform high-volume datasets from third-party data hubs using incremental ETL techniques
Develop and maintain Lambda-based microservices and Step Function workflows that power core platform features (predictions, exports, reporting, orchestration)
Contribute to backend services and APIs that support dashboards, customer-facing features, and internal operations tooling
Build and maintain frontend dashboards and customer-facing UIs using Vue.js, Next.js, or similar modern frameworks
Support ML/MLOps workflows including model training, deployment, and lifecycle management on SageMaker
Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and automated recovery mechanisms, targeting 3 9s of uptime across pipelines and services
Design flexible data schemas and APIs that accommodate varying client data structures and evolving business requirements
Build automated data validation, quality monitoring, and anomaly detection systems
Design systems that can be safely re-run, handle backfills/late data, and produce consistent results every time
Write well-tested, well-documented code with appropriate unit and integration tests
Define and enforce data contracts schema versioning (e.g. Glue Catalog/registry), including safe schema evolution and compatibility rules across clients
Contribute to CI/CD for both data pipelines and application services, with automated testing and deployment
Collaborate with MLOps Engineers, Product Management, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that enable marketing insights
