Senior Cloud Security Engineer
Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with 8+ years of industry experience to design, implement, and automate security controls across Azure, AWS, and GCP. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in cloud security, SIEM/SOAR, security automation, governance, and software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security controls across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM) detections, monitoring, and integrations.
- Design and implement SOAR playbooks for automated security response and remediation.
- Develop security automation and integrations using Python, C#, and .NET Core.
- Implement and manage Azure Policies and Policy Initiatives.
- Design AWS governance controls using AWS Control Tower, SCPs, RCPs, and AWS Config Rules.
- Develop AWS Lambda functions for security automation and remediation.
- Build integrations between cloud platforms, security tools, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Implement event-driven automation using Azure Logic Apps and AWS services.
- Support cloud security architecture, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SOC, Application Security, and other security teams.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and mentorship to other engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel and SOAR.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Policy and Azure Logic Apps.
- Strong understanding of AWS Control Tower, SCPs, RCPs, Config Rules, and Lambda.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, and .NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs and security automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, governance, IAM, monitoring, and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Cloud/security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or multi-cloud environments.
