Sr. Business Analyst

Position - Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong FinTech background and proven experience in data and migration projects, coupled with excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE

• Prior experience in Private Equity is preferred, along with a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
• The candidate should demonstrate the ability to quickly ramp up on any domain, as the role demands adaptability across varying business contexts.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• SQL/Snowflake: Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Power BI: Hands-on experience building and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports.
• Advanced Excel: Strong command of Excel for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis of large datasets.
• Data Handling: Prior experience working with high-volume datasets and ensuring data integrity.

Note:  Prior knowledge of Efront or Paxus will be a Plus

AGILE & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and User Story creation.
• Mandatory experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing project boards, sprints, and documentation. Familiarity with Jira is a plus but ADO proficiency is non-negotiable.

BUSINESS ANALYSIS EXPERTISE

• Demonstrated experience in authoring Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently assess issues and propose practical solutions.

COMMUNICATION & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder communications across business and technical functions, including senior stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with Development and QA teams through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software deployment pipelines.
