Job Description: DevOps Automation & Integration Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps/Automation Analyst who thrives in fast-paced environments, picks up new technologies quickly, and has a passion for automating manual, repetitive workflows. You will be integral to improving CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and infrastructure reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and automate redundant/manual tasks across build, test, and deployment pipelines to improve team efficiency
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation and integration scripts to streamline development workflows and cross-tool communication
- Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including job configuration, pipeline-as-code, and build optimization
- Integrate tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Klocwork, and Kubernetes through APIs and custom scripts to ensure smooth end-to-end process flow
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based workloads, understand cluster resource utilization, and contribute to infra capacity planning
- Maintain and enhance Make/CMake-based build systems, troubleshoot build failures, and optimize compilation workflows
- Perform static code analysis using Klocwork, automate scan execution, and integrate results reporting into CI pipelines
- Track, manage, and report engineering tasks and defects using JIRA; automate ticket creation, updates, and reporting via JIRA APIs
- Understand and evaluate infrastructure requirements and resource utilization to support scaling and performance goals
- Debug complex system-level issues across build, infra, and integration layers; provide root cause analysis and lasting fixes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, ops) to improve tooling and reduce friction in the SDLC

- Prior experience contributing to build artifact management systems

Experience
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation roles
- Demonstrated experience writing production-grade Python automation scripts
- Proven track record of reducing toil through automation in CI/CD or build environments
Education
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
