• Web Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies
• Server-Side Scripting: Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented server-side PHP code to create dynamic web pages
• Database Integration: Integrate databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, into web applications, and write SQL queries to manage data
• Framework Expertise: Work with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Zend to build web applications
• Front-End Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) with back-end functionalities
• API Development: Create and maintain APIs for data exchange between the web application and external services or applications
• Performance Optimization: Optimize web application performance, improve scalability, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Security: Implement security best practices to protect web applications from common vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS)
• Version Control: Use version control systems like Git to manage codebase and collaborate with other team members
• Code Reviews: Review code written by junior developers, provide feedback, and mentor less experienced team members
