Job Description
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CyberArk architecture, implementation, upgrades, and high availability (HA) configurations, with a strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities: Architecture Design: - Design scalable and secure CyberArk architectures for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Define PAM strategies aligned with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements
- Develop High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures using Cluster Vault Manager and load balancers
- Create detailed High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for CyberArk deployments
Implementation Configuration: - Lead end-to-end implementation of CyberArk components: Vault, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PTA, AIM, and Conjur
- Configure safe structures, access control policies, and onboarding workflows
- Integrate CyberArk with enterprise systems: AD, LDAP, SIEM, ITSM, DevOps tools
- Develop custom connectors and plugins for PSM and CPM
Upgradation Maintenance: - Plan and execute version upgrades and patch management for all CyberArk components
- Perform pre-upgrade assessments, backup strategies, and rollback planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues with minimal downtime
High Availability DR Setup: - Implement and validate HA configurations for Vault and PVWA using clustering and load balancing
- Configure DR replication and perform regular failover testing
- Monitor synchronization and ensure business continuity
Automation Scripting: - Automate onboarding, reporting, and maintenance tasks using PowerShell, REST APIs, or Python
- Integrate CyberArk with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
Governance Documentation: - Maintain comprehensive documentation: architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and audit logs
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and train internal teams
- Support audits and compliance initiatives: ISO, SOX, GDPR, etc Required Skills & Qualifications: - 7 years of experience in CyberArk implementation and architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with PAS, CPM, PSM, PVWA, PTA, AIM, and Conjur
- Expertise in HA and DR configurations using Cluster Vault Manager
- Proficiency in scripting: PowerShell, Python, REST APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments
- Familiarity with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform is a plus
- CyberArk Sentry or Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE) certification preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Certifications: - CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE) - CyberArk Defender Sentry - CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications
