Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the role is to assist in ensuring incorporation of risk mitigation clauses in all the commercial contracts / agreements entered by BEL with third parties. To assist in providing advisory and contract / agreement drafting services to ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, mitigating reputational risk, and reducing exposure to legal liability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing standard templates for commercial contracts/ agreements that can be conveniently used by different stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing customized contracts /agreements for business and ensuring compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws or regulations.
- Assist in providing proactive and innovative legal advice on complex, and in some cases sensitive, contract issues to mitigate potential legal risks to the business.
- Assist in reviewing drafts and negotiating major account agreements, consulting agreements, special licensing, non-disclosure agreements, terms and amendments for stakeholders across India.
- Providing advisory services in reviewing policies, and other mandates, to ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, mitigating reputational risk, and reducing exposure to legal liability.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
LLB
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience
- Should have experience in drafting of Legal contracts/ Agreements
