Job Description
Position: Special Educator
Department: Inclusive Education / Student Support
Qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Special Education (B.Ed. Special Education/M.Ed. Special Education) or equivalent qualification recognized by RCI.
Valid RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration is mandatory.
Minimum 05 years of experience in a school setting preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and support students with special educational needs (SEN).
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Provide academic and behavioral support to students.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure inclusive learning.
Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records.
Conduct classroom observations and recommend appropriate interventions.
Support awareness programs on inclusive education.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of inclusive education practices.
Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and counselors.
Patience, empathy, and effective classroom support skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
RCI-registered Special Educator with experience in school-based inclusive education.
Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, behavioral interventions, and IEP planning.
Compassionate, organized, and committed to supporting diverse learning needs.
