Job Description
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, and dosas.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and service.
- Develop new recipes and menus to keep culinary offerings fresh.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order replacements as needed.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a South Indian cuisine setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and spices used in South Indian cuisine.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
