Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Sourcing Executive Finished Dosage Formulations will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing formulation manufacturing partners, ensuring compliance with global quality and regulatory standards while supporting business development and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Maintain and proactively develop existing and new Finished Dosage Formulation (FDF) manufacturers through structured coordination and sourcing initiatives
  • Support Business Development Managers with queries related to formulation products sourced from India
  • Assist in planning and preparation of meetings, conferences, and conference calls with clients and suppliers
  • Participate in technical and commercial discussions with clients and formulation manufacturers
  • Determine, negotiate, and agree on quality procedures, standards, and specifications for finished dosage products
  • Knowledge about global regulatory accreditations and their functioning such as USFDA, ANVISA, EU-GMP, WHO-GMP.
  • Assess customer requirements and translate them into supplier expectations
  • Ensure understanding and compliance of product specifications, dossiers, stability data, and quality parameters
  • Verify that supplier manufacturing processes comply with national and international regulatory standards
  • Review and interpret technical documents, management reports, and customer quality agreements
  • Support sourcing objectives to maximize profitability and supply reliability
  • Assist with specification setting, change controls, regulatory submissions, variations, annual product reviews (APR/PQR), and investigations in coordination with suppliers
  • Support and coordinate client audits and commercial visits to formulation manufacturing sites
  • Liaise with internal functions such as Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, and Supply Chain
  • Organize and attend national and international pharmaceutical exhibitions

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor s / Master s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Life Sciences
  • 1 3 years of experience in FDF sourcing, contract manufacturing, QA coordination
  • Strong understanding of oral solid dosage / liquids / injectables / topical formulations
  • Knowledge of global regulatory requirements and GMP standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
