Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Solutions Engineer with experience in Snowflake and modern data technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, solution architects, and engineering teams to design, implement, and support cloud-based data solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication to deliver scalable and high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake.
• Understand customer business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, database objects, and Snowflake data models.
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud data integration tools.
• Integrate data from multiple on-premises and cloud data sources.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and cost optimization within Snowflake.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, product teams, and customers during implementation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guides.
• Participate in customer demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical workshops.
• Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Strong SQL programming and database concepts.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with Python or scripting languages for automation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as dbt, Matillion, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or Talend.
• Understanding of REST APIs and data integration concepts.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Snowflake certification is an added advantage.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Experience with data governance and security concepts is desirable.
