The person will be part of a solution architect team
In addition to design, this position will provide business and high level technical solution
Activities will cover all solution development lifecycle phases, from architect and solution design, to production readiness and induction
The person will collaborate with a local global team of Business architects, business analysts, and technical and solution architect
As a Solution Architect, You Shall:
Overall level
Ensure solution alignment with the overall business architect vision/blue print and standard set by CorSo Business and Data Architect
collect idea from team on overall landscape solution architect improvement and modernization opportunities
get rid of solution architect debts in landscape
innovative solution practices from industry and obtain suitable new solution methodologies and share with overall architect community
Collaborate and sharing best practice, design knowledge within solution architecture community
Actively contribute to the knowledge pool and bring new idea to the table
Project level
Design solutions, within the CorSo technology landscape and project portfolio Work with business users to come up with technical solution option space
evaluating various upcoming technologies, prototyping, and eventually helping draw conclusion on their applicability to our landscape
Evaluate design trade-offs and strive for simple, elegant, efficient, scalable, and maintenance-lite solution
Prepare architecture-related artefacts like data model, BPMN process diagram, sequence diagrams, user journey wire-frame
Exchange idea with other architect, and finally take to Product Owners and wider stakeholders for acceptance
Work collaboratively with Business and Product Owners and delivery teams to size and manage scope and risk
Take accepted solution and drill down to practical implement pattern and explain the solution to developer community, Tester, and business analyst to have end to end understanding
Being Agile and flexible to make necessary alternative design change without violate architect integrate
Ensure and promote documentation on architecture design
Present and communicate ideas and design to various stakeholder for DGF review and various design challenging session
About You
Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field
8+ years of experience in Information technology area
Fundamental understanding of commercial insurance domain is a must, prior real business or IT project experience is big plus
Strong, business process modelling using BPMN 2.0
Service interaction using sequence diagram
User journey with wire-frame tool
Familiar with architect modeling language UML
Proficient of design tool such as EA is a plus
And most important be able to articulate the design with different audience, from developer, technical architect, peer solution architect to product owner and business stake-holder
Understanding Restful API concept
Be able to use tool such as Swagger to explorer API
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication in complex environments
Self Directed and motivated, ability to manage own workload, able to set practical and realistic goal
Well-experienced in Agile methodologies
Experienced in working with a diverse multi-locational team of internal and external professional
