There is an immediate need for an experienced Solution Architect at SupraITS Canada through its subsidiary Atomic North India. If you re someone who can see both the big picture and the technical details, enjoys designing scalable systems, and thrives on solving complex engineering and infrastructure challenges then this position is for you.

LOCATIONS: This role is remote/hybrid and is available for candidates located in: Delhi, Chennai or Jammu

ABOUT THE ROLE

We re looking for a strategic technical leader who can balance architecture, reliability, security, cost, and team growth while guiding engineers and driving long-term technical vision.

As Solution Architect, youll define the technical strategy for the AI ITSM Agent Platform. Youll make cloud infrastructure decisions, design systems for scale, build and mentor the engineering team, and ensure we execute with excellence. Youll report to the CTO and own the platforms technical roadmap for 18 24 months.

YOU ARE!

An experienced Solution Architect with 8+ years experience in production software engineering

2+ years experience in architecture or technical leadership.

Can articulate technical vision to C-level and engineers

Writes clear RFCs and design docs that guide implementation

Runs effective technical discussions; makes decisive trade-off decisions

Builds and mentors engineers; creates psychological safety and growth

Transparent: admits when you dont know; seeks expertise

Key Responsibilities

What you ll own

• Technical architecture: design system for 10x growth (compute, data, async processing, observability)
• Cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure: serverless vs. containerized, multi-region strategy, cost optimization
• Security compliance: authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging, data privacy
• Observability: monitoring, logging, alerting, SLOs/SLIs, incident response
• Team building: hire engineers (junior through architect), establish best practices, mentorship
• Technology choices: databases, message queues, vector DBs, agent frameworks, deployment platforms
• Reliability: design for 99.9% uptime, disaster recovery, data integrity
• Cost optimization: right-sizing resources, pricing models, vendor management

Tech Stack

• Clouds - AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3) or GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run) or Azure
• Full Stack - React, TypeScript, FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker
• Distributed - Message queues, load balancing, replication, sharding
• Agents/AI - LLM integration patterns, agent orchestration, MCP, vector scaling, Claude Agents
• Observability - Structured logging, metrics, traces, alerting (Datadog, ELK, etc.)

Technical experience

Deep Technical Knowledge:

• Mastery across full stack: React, TypeScript, FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker
• Can jump into any layer and make informed decisions or code changes
• Deep understanding of trade-offs between technologies

Cloud Architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure Deep in One):

• Compute options: EC2/VMs vs. Lambda/serverless vs. Kubernetes; when each is appropriate
• Database scaling: read replicas, Multi-AZ, replication, sharding strategies
• Networking: VPC design, security groups, load balancing, multi-region failover
• Security: encryption, secrets management, IAM, audit logging, compliance
• Cost optimization: right-sizing, reserved instances, spot instances, pricing models

System Architecture at Scale:

• Microservices vs. monolith: when each is appropriate
• Asynchronous processing: message queues, job processors, event-driven architecture
• Caching strategies: cache invalidation, CDN, in-memory, database-level
• API design patterns: rate limiting, circuit breakers, bulkheads

Operational Excellence:

• Observability: structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, alerting
• SLOs/SLIs
