Roles & Responsibility

  1. Work with multiple stakeholders, colleagues and vendors across the MRM Business, Transformation, IT, Architecture and Engineering teams, helping them define their technology vision, strategy and solutions.
  2. Lead the creation of, and own, solution architectures for Model Risk Management, including reference architectures, solution architectures and other artefacts and documents under the oversight of the GRC Architecture leadership.
  3. Contribute to the Model Risk Management Enterprise Architecture.
  4. Prepare and present architecture documents and artefacts to peers and governance boards for review and approval.
  5. Ensure the architecture governance practices are followed and designs are correctly aligned and supportive of the related Compliance & HSBC strategies (Tech, Data, Cloud, Security, etc.).
  6. Liaise and collaborate with many geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders to build knowledge and coordinate solution design.
  7. Drive the transfer of knowledge to others through both written and verbal means

Requirements

  1. Model Risk Management (MRM) is part of Governance Risk and Control (GRC) under the Enterprise Technology Risk & Compliance Service Line. MRM supports key systems including the Group Model Inventory System (GMIS).

  1. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Solutions Architect to join our Solution Architecture team, focusing on the creation of solution architectures to support our Model Risk Platforms and Strategic Transformation programmed.

  1. You will work closely with other architects, stakeholders, engineers, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.

  1. Experience as a Solution Architect is essential with demonstrable experience preparing solution architecture documentation, including reference architectures, logical, functional and physical designs, and presenting that to peers and governance boards for review and approval.
