Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Solar Site Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in the execution of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in site supervision, quality checks, and electrical/mechanical installation of solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise solar installation work at site including module mounting, structure erection, inverter setup, and cabling.
* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
* Ensure site safety compliance and proper use of PPEs and safety measures.
* Perform basic testing and commissioning of installed systems (inverters, modules, AC/DC connections).
* Troubleshoot installation and operational issues at the site level.
* Maintain accurate site records, daily progress reports, and material tracking.
* Conduct site inspections and report deviations or quality issues.
Requirements:
* Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering field.
* 2 to 3 years of field experience in solar PV project execution.
*Familiarity with solar equipment installation, wiring standards, and basic testing.
* Ability to travel and work at project locations as required.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with solar rooftop systems and net metering.
• Knowledge of SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and basic electrical load calculations.
• Understanding of DISCOM and MNRE installation protocols.
