In the solar sector, Filatech focuses on B2B distribution of solar inverters, solar modules, and energy solutions for EPC, commercial, industrial, and utility customers.
Role Overview: We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Solar Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager to drive B2B sales of solar inverters and solar modules across key commercial and industrial markets. The role requires regular field visits, customer meetings, inquiry generation, techno-commercial coordination, and sales closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new B2B leads from EPCs, installers, commercial, industrial, and utility solar customers.
- Conduct 34 customer meetings/site visits daily through field networking and pre-scheduled visits.
- Promote solar inverters, solar panels/modules, and related solar solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry generation to quotation, follow-up, negotiation, and closure.
- Resolve basic techno-commercial customer queries in coordination with internal teams.
- Build strong long-term relationships with customers, EPC partners, and channel networks.
- Maintain daily visit reports, sales funnel updates, and lead trackers in CRM/internal systems.
- Travel extensively across assigned territory for sales development and customer engagement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1–5 years in solar sales, solar distribution, EPC sales, channel sales, or renewable energy sales preferred.
- Freshers with B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical and MBA from a reputed institute may also apply.
- Strong interest in solar, renewable energy, EV, battery, and energy storage sectors.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Punjabi/local language.
- Must be comfortable with field sales, daily travel, and customer-facing meetings.
- Basic knowledge of solar inverters, solar modules, EPC business, or B2B distribution will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, WhatsApp Business, Google Meet, Gmail/Outlook, and CRM tools such as Zoho/Odoo preferred.
