Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to support testing activities across multiple automotive software applications (SW4/5/6 levels). The role involves test case development, execution, automation, and validation using MIL, SIL, and HIL methodologies, ensuring high-quality embedded software delivery aligned with the V-cycle process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases on target hardware using MIL, SIL, and HIL methodologies
• Analyze functional software requirements and create test specifications for integration and functional testing
• Perform manual and automated testing on laboratory test benches with real hardware and loads
• Conduct technical peer reviews of test specifications and execution results
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve complex technical problems to support team progress
• Work extensively with MATLAB toolchain including Simulink and Simulink Test Manager
• Handle and operate target electronic hardware systems daily
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and MATLAB
• Perform embedded software debugging using test benches and in-circuit emulators
• Report testing progress and status to team leads and managers
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams across multiple locations

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C programming, CAPL scripting, and Python scripting
• Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Simulink Test Manager
• Hands-on experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL testing methodologies
• Knowledge of Embedded Coder for auto-code generation
• Experience using lab equipment: Oscilloscopes, Programmable Power Supplies, Function Generators, Multimeters, Current Probes.
• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols: UART,CAN, LIN, UDS
• Experience with Vector tools: CANoe, CANapev, FlashODX , StudioVT System (Small/Full)
• Experience with HIL simulation platforms: dSPACE, NI PXI, Opal-RT, Vector VT System
