Job Summary

As a Software Engineer - MuleSoft, you will design and develop MuleSoft integration solutions that connect client s enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, and manufacturing systems. You will own integration delivery for your assigned domain, building reusable API assets and executing WebMethods-to-MuleSoft migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Mule 4 applications implementing API-led connectivity patterns (System, Process, and Experience APIs) for client s integration use cases.
• Build complex DataWeave transformations for data mapping between SAP (IDOCs, BAPIs), Salesforce (REST/SOAP), ServiceNow (REST), and client s data platforms.
• Execute WebMethods-to-MuleSoft migration consisting of reverse-engineering legacy integration maps, designing equivalent MuleSoft flows, and performing parity testing.
• Develop SAP-specific integrations using MuleSofts SAP Connector including IDOC listeners, BAPI calls, RFC function modules, and SAP table reads.
• Build Salesforce integrations such as Platform Events, Change Data Capture, bulk API patterns for account/opportunity/order sync.
• Implement error handling, retry patterns, dead letter queues, and ing for production-grade integrations.
• Publish and govern API specifications (RAML/OAS) in Clients Anypoint Exchange with proper versioning and lifecycle management.
• Build MUnit test suites for all integration flows, and achieve more than 80% code coverage per client s quality standards.
• Support CI/CD pipeline configuration for MuleSoft deployments using Maven, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and Anypoint CLI.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) - Level 1 required; Level 2 preferred

Skills

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of MuleSoft development experience with Mule 4/Anypoint Platform
• Proficiency in DataWeave 2.0 for complex data transformations
• Experience in at least 2 of: SAP Connector, Salesforce Connector, Database Connector, HTTP/REST Connector, JMS/AMQP Connector
• Understanding of API-led connectivity architecture and API lifecycle management
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments

Good to Have Skills

• Experience in SAP integration patterns (IDOCs, BAPIs, RFC) in a MuleSoft context
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture including Anypoint MQ, Kafka, Platform Events
• Familiarity with WebMethods (for migration context)
• Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing integration environments
• Understanding of API security - OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, API policies
