Software Engineer - .Net/Azure (7-10 yrs)

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience of 7 to 10 years in a structured software development, testing, implementation and deployment, using Microsoft .NET technologies and Azure cloud.

- Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET, MVC, Web API, RESTful services, and enterprise application design.

- Deep understanding of Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management, Application Insights, and monitoring capabilities.

- Strong expertise in application architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, object-oriented design, and clean architecture practices.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes on Azure.

- Experience designing scalable, secure, resilient, and high-availability cloud-native or hybrid enterprise applications.

- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database architecture, performance tuning, data modeling, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.

- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, messaging, and API-led integration.

- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps, infrastructure awareness, and release management.

- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, identify risks, and make sound architecture and design decisions.

- Strong stakeholder communication and the ability to articulate solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive solution architecture for applications built on Microsoft .NET technologies and Azure cloud platform.

- Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture and technical design.

- Define application architecture, integration patterns, API strategy, data flow, and deployment models across enterprise solutions.

- Guide engineering teams on design principles, coding standards, cloud-native practices, reusability, performance, and operational excellence.

- Provide technical leadership in application modernization, cloud transformation, microservices adoption, and migration of legacy systems to Azure.

- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and technical risk assessments for ongoing projects and proposals.

- Collaborate with business teams, delivery managers, product owners, QA, DevOps, security, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.

- Support estimation, technical planning, solution proposal development, and resolution of complex production or performance issues.

- Mentor developers and technical leads to strengthen engineering capability and architectural thinking across teams.
