Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop robust backend services using .Net Core with front end as React that integrate smoothly with relational data stores and external services while maintaining clean architecture and reusable components.
• Design and implement containerized applications on Kubernetes and AWS EKS that are secure scalable and optimized for high availability in alignment with client requirements and organizational standards.
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using React that deliver intuitive user experiences and meet modern web performance and usability expectations.
• Create optimize and maintain complex SQL queries views and stored procedures that ensure data integrity reliable reporting and efficient transaction processing.
• Collaborate with architects product partners and engineering peers to refine requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans that reduce delivery risk and rework.
• Implement automated testing strategies across backend frontend and data layers to improve reliability enable safe refactoring and support continuous integration practices.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues across Kubernetes clusters AWS EKS workloads application code and database layers to restore service quickly and prevent recurrence.
• Optimize application and database performance by analysing metrics profiling workloads and applying tuning techniques that improve response times and resource utilization.
• Apply secure coding practices enforce authentication and authorization and work with platform teams to meet compliance expectations across cloud and application components.
• Document system designs deployment guides runbooks and technical decisions in a clear and reusable manner to support knowledge sharing within the consulting team.
• Engage with client stakeholders in day to day sessions to explain technical trade-offs gather feedback and adjust implementation approaches to maximize delivered value.
• Coordinate effectively in a hybrid work environment using collaborative tools and structured communication to maintain alignment across distributed team members.
• Contribute to internal accelerators code templates and shared libraries that improve delivery efficiency and promote consistent engineering practices across consulting engagements.
