Job Description


Job Purpose


Candidate Selected will be responsible for managing and driving HRMS system enhancements within BFL. The role involves end-to-end coordination from requirement understanding, documentation, solution design, development with implementation partners, and production support including change requests (CRs). The candidate will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities


Major Activities carried out by the role

1.Major Activity 1
Understand existing HRMS application architecture and business processes
  • Identify enhancement opportunities in alignment with business needs
  • Drive system improvements and automation initiatives in HRMS modules (Payroll, Core HR, Benefits, etc.)
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders
    Prepare detailed documentation such as:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD) , Functional Specifications , Test Cases
  • Ensure clarity, completeness, and traceability of requirements
    Solution Design
  • Work closely with technical teams/vendors to define optimal solutions
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions
  • Validate feasibility, scalability, and compliance with BFSI standards
  • Ensure alignment with organizational IT policies and security guidelines
    Vendor Development Partner Management
  • Coordinate with implementation partners for development and delivery
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and quality of outputs
  • Facilitate UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
    KPI management
    2.Major Activity 2
  • Engage with internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Compliance, Finance)
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and risk assessments
  • Act as a single point of contact for HRMS-related initiatives

  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Making decisions on validation logic, input sanitization, and security practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Suggesting enhancements or product features that improve user experience or align with business goals.
  • Implementing effective error-handling mechanisms and deciding on logging strategies for easier debugging and monitoring.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and applying caching, asynchronous processing, or query optimization to enhance performance.


  • Major Challenges


    The role faces challenges such as delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines, adapting to rapidly evolving technologies, and managing complex systems. It requires balancing performance and scalability, ensuring security and compliance, integrating with legacy and third-party systems, and taking end-to-end. Additionally, effective collaboration across cross-functional teams and handling large data volumes are key ongoing challenges.

    Required Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualifications
    a)Graduate Degree in CS, IT or equivalent Qualifications
    b)Should have strong knowledge and experience in project planning, Solution Design , problem analysis.

  • d)Should have experience in developing applications using design principle/patterns and architecture design patterns like MVC and MVVM.
    e)Should have knowledge in asynchronous programming practices using .Net Task Parallel concepts.
    f)Should have experience in writing data access code using Microsoft Entity Framework.
    g)Preference Experience in Financial HRMS Domain.
    h)Work Experience
    Experience should be between 3 to 5 years
