As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at CIT Sales Channel, your role entails crafting applications tailored for both cloud-based and data centre environments to cater to web and mobile platforms. You'll leverage engineering best practices and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to ensure that the applications you develop uphold the highest quality standards and adhere to established development guidelines. Primarily utilizing Java with 4 years of experience, and additional specialized services scripted in languages like JavaScript, React/React Native, Golang, and Python. You'll wield a diverse set of programming tools, including AI-powered coding, testing, and debugging tools to enhance productivity and code quality. Your expertise will extend to grasping service implementation methodologies, accommodating both consistent and eventually-consistent data models through a mix of synchronous and asynchronous techniques, with the support of AI-assisted design and analysis where applicable. Beyond coding proficiency, you'll possess a keen understanding of resource optimization and concurrency principles. Your contributions will extend to the design, development, and upkeep of robust, scalable backend systems and services. Whether in the cloud or on-premises, you'll navigate modern solutions and architectural paradigms, leveraging AI insights for performance optimization and system reliability, to ensure optimal functionality and performance across software applications. Make an Impact by building and running high available backend applications, leveraging AI tools for monitoring, alerting, and optimization. Design solution and architecture and be accountable on corresponding technical roadmap, including AI-assisted design practices. Manage the project software engineering, incorporating AI-driven development workflows where applicable. Manage small to medium size software engineering team, and promote adoption of AI development tools and practices. Key point to contact person with closely working with business stakeholders, including identifying opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
