  • Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team that continuously experiments, iterates, and delivers on platform and developer experience objectives.
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate actively in code reviews and design discussions.
  • Work with the team to understand our codebase, systems, and developer needs, and effectively evolve our platform applications.
  • Partner with Application Engineering, SDET, Security and Cloud teams to embed quality, governance, and operational controls into engineering workflows.
  • Debug and resolve issues developers encounter when using platform services, with a focus on continuously improving developer experience.
  • Grow as an engineer by learning from senior peers and contributing your own ideas to platform improvements.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, building production-grade applications, internal tools, or developer-facing services.
  • Solid programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience building and consuming web services, REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integrations.
  • Understanding of software design fundamentals - clean code, testing, code reviews, and writing maintainable, scalable software.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for composing queries and basic analysis.
  • Working knowledge of microservices, Kubernetes (GKE preferable), and Docker.
  • Experience developing on the cloud, especially GCP (AWS and/or Azure a plus).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD, Git workflows, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Good communication skills - able to collaborate with peers, ask questions, and clearly articulate ideas and trade-offs.
