Software Engineer

In this role you will get to:

• Be part of a cross - functional agile team that continuously experiments, iterates and delivers on new product objectives.

• Contribute to full - stack initiatives by building dynamic, user - facing features using React JavaScript and integrating them with GraphQL APIs.

• Apply your programming skills towards building low latency and high throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing.

• Implement SQL composition skills that collects and queries data for investigation and analysis in real time from our applications.

• Utilize your knowledge to understand our codebase, systems and business requirements to effectively make changes to our applications.

• Effectively collaborate and engage in team efforts, speak up for what you think are the best solutions and be able to converse respectfully and compromise when necessary.

Who you are:

• Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.

• 3. 5 + years of JavaScript along with experience working on consumer facing projects.

• Expertise in one or more modern client side JavaScript framework or library (React).

• Experienced building applications with Node. js, has an understanding about how Node works and applying common libraries like Express.

• Ability to develop and consume GraphQL APIs.

• Comfort and experience with functional programming.

• Ability to author semantic and accessible markup and style.

• Experience with Styled Components or similar CSS in JavaScript framework.

• Established software development best practices, including writing unit tests and collaborating over programming in peer code review.
