Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Back End Developer with 6+ years of applied experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions in an Agile environment. Key technologies include Java (Version 11 or higher), the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), Hibernate, SQL, and testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito. Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible is essential.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Back End Developer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code that aligns with the Group's architecture guidelines and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using Core Java concepts (Collections, Multithreading, Streams API).
• Translate functional requirements and business needs into detailed technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high standards of quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in production and non-production environments.
• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners.
• Execute (CI/CD) continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure a smooth delivery calendar.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years applied experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Version 11 or higher) with a deep understanding of Core Java concepts (Collections, Multithreading, Streams API).
• Extensive experience with the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Extensive experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or other CI/CD automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular or React) would be a plus.
• Knowledge in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
• Prior experience working within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
