Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic, empowered engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and operating a suite of scalable cloud-based microservices. You'll work across the full software lifecycle from designing APIs and implementing business logic to deploying services in Kubernetes clusters and ensuring high availability and performance in production. What You'll Do

• Collaborate in an agile environment to design, build, and maintain distributed microservices.

• Break down requirements, create detailed design documentation, estimate timelines, and implement solutions.

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot multi-layered, service-oriented cloud applications using Go.

• Contribute to the development and refinement of APIs, deployment pipelines, and observability tools.

• Develop rapid prototypes and engage in pair programming or design reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Optimize product quality, performance, and security.

• Leverage and learn modern cloud and DevOps tooling, including Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Sumologic, and AWS (various Amazon Web Services).

• Contribute to shared documentation and internal knowledge bases to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand use cases, gather feedback, and translate requirements into practical engineering solutions.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience developing scalable web or SaaS applications.

• Strong hands-on experience in a functional or object-oriented language (Go, Java, C#, or similar).

• Solid understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and performance optimization.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for cloud-native deployment.

• Strong background in database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL, such as MongoDB).

• Bonus experience with Goa, JavaScript, and AWS cloud services.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
