Candidate will be a member of the Data Product Development Team responsible for designing, deploying and managing scalable cloud application for the data product engineering group predominantly using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, AWS and Jenkins.
You have a hands-on experience in Java Full Stack, building Spring Boot microservices, UI components in JavaScript/Ansible/NodeJS and developing REST APIs. You have experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, EFS, VPC, Secrets Manager, IAM, Lamda, EKS, ECR). You have a hands-on experience in using Hibernate and REST APIs. You have a hands-on experience in configuration management tool like Ansible including writing playbooks. You have a hands-on experience in implementing CI/CD workflows. You have experience with orchestration tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket Pipeline. You enjoy new challenges, automating processes to improve efficiency and are solution oriented. You are self-driven, thrive in solving complex problems, and can mentor and guide junior engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and support complex and highly integrated software systems developed in an agile/iterative development environment.
  • Build and maintain server-side Spring Boot microservices in Java/Groovy.
  • Develop Java server-side applications and REST APIs.
  • Develop UI components in JavaScript/Ansible/NodeJS.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS.
  • Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, EFS, VPC, Secrets Manager, IAM, Lamda, EKS, ECR.
  • Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability in cloud environments
  • Setting up Jenkins and Bitbucket pipeline to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Identify and resolve vulnerability on the assets.
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce best coding and design practices.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and IT teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide guidance to QA Engineers as they execute system testing and address bugs when found.
  • Keep documentation up to date on release components and features
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple and complex projects
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate for off-hour events, maintenance and rollouts.
Qualifications
  • BE / B.Tech / MCA - No correspondence course
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Must have strong experience of working with Java FullStack, Spring Boot, Hibernate and AWS.
  • 3+ years experience with Java.
  • 3+ years experience with REST API.
  • 2+ years experience with Ansible, Jenkins and Bitbucket/Github.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL
  • Good to have a working experience on Ansible, Jenkins and Bitbucket/Github.
  • At least 2+ years of experience of working on AWS, Terraform.
