Job Purpose and Impact
The Professional, Software Engineering(Backend Developer)job designs,developsandmaintainssoftware applications,systemsand APIsinFood sustainabilityapplications. With minimal supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to define, design and implement new software features to meet user needs and business goals, and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through writing clean,efficientand scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging complex issues. This job alsoparticipatesin code reviews tomaintainhigh code quality and share knowledge with software engineering team members.
Key Accountabilities - SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Designs and develops high quality software solutions by writing clean,maintainableand efficient codes.
- AUTOMATION: Leads the application of internal software deployment platform,methodologiesand tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
- COLLABORATION: Partners withcrossfunctional team of product managers,designersand different engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- TESTING DEBUGGING: Writes andmaintainscomplex unit tests and integration tests and performs debugging tomaintainthe quality and performance of the software.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Suggests options for improvingthe softwaredevelopment and deployment processes andimplementsthe approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.
- DOCUMENTATION: Builds andmaintainscomprehensive documentation for complex software applications, deploymentprocessesand system configurations.
- TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support and debugging for complex issues with deployed
- Minimumrequirementof3-4years of relevant work experience.
- Java, Spring Boot Gradle, REST API, Authentication Authorization, Junit, SQL, GIT, Postman, CI/CD, AWS, Datadog, Docker, OKTA
- Preferred: Experience integrating data from ERP systems
- Familiarity with Power Platform technologies-Power BI, Power Apps
- Exposure to AI technologies, including OpenAI LLMs
- Strong communicationskills
- Interest in understanding business topics
