Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions that enhance and extend various system components or applications. The role requires engaging in the full development lifecycle, from initial design through coding and testing, ensuring that the solutions are scalable and meet specific business requirements. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is a key part of the day, as is adapting to evolving project needs using contemporary development methodologies and frameworks to deliver high-quality results.
Roles Responsibilities: 1. Provide L2 functional support for 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA and CATIA V5 in AMS environment2. Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests and defects related to Part Design, Assembly and Drafting3. Understand and support PLM processes such as EBOM, configurations and product structures4. Perform functional analysis and root cause identification for production issues5. Support testing activities including test case creation, functional validation and regression testing6. Collaborate with business users, SMEs and technical teams for issue resolution7. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and maintain documentation such as SOPs and troubleshooting guides8. Ensure adherence to SLA timelines and AMS support processes9. Support release activities and minor enhancements as required
Professional Technical Skills: 1. Good functional knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE platform2. Understanding of engineering design concepts such as Part, Assembly and Drafting3. Basic understanding of PLM concepts including BOM, lifecycle and configurations4. Experience in AMS support including incident and problem management5. Ability to perform functional troubleshooting and issue analysis6. Basic knowledge of software testing lifecycle and test case design7. Familiarity with Agile and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow 1. 15 year full time education is required.2. Exposure to Electrical, Piping or Manufacturing domains is an advantage3. Good communication skills for interaction with business and cross functional teams4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills5. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to project specific workflows and customizations6. Proactive approach towards knowledge building and continuous improvement7. This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
