The mission of the Dealmakers & Wealth Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is to accelerate FactSet s growth by strategically advancing the established sectors of Banking and Wealth Management, as well as driving accelerated expansion of two rapidly emerging sectors, Corporates and Private Equity/Venture Capital.

SUB-PROCESS BRIEF

The FactSet Wealth Platform is a strategic investment in the Wealth Portfolio Lifecycle that will deepen our capabilities across Performance, Risk, Portfolio Management and Proposal generation. Within the FactSet Wealth Platform initiative, were looking for a talented senior engineer to develop the next generation of our proposal generation product. This individual will work closely with product and engineering peers in the US/UK to build our Proposal Generation Application - which will provide our end users with access to detailed reporting and accurate next-best-actions.

What Youll Do:-
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

  • Proactively suggest improvements to applications and processes that enhance the client experience or improve performance .

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Work with Product Development team to understand project requirements and work with other Engineers on the technical design of those solutions .

  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support .

What Were Looking For:-
  • 3 - 5 years of industry experience in web development

  • Professional Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is required

  • Experience with JavaScript-based MVC frameworks especially VueJs or similar framework is required

  • Knowledge of RESTful services, especially NodeJS is required

  • Experience in TypeScript , Git and unit tests is required

  • Proficiency with Object Oriented design principles and working knowledge of Linux OS

  • Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Willingness to work as a member of a team, including participating in peer code reviews and maintaining project and operational documentation

  • Ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team

  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people

  • B .Tech or M .Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
