Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

Software Engineer to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaption to business and/or technology changes. The developer will participate in development activities across projects ensuring that the software produced is written in a standard, maintainable and efficient manner.

To be successful in the role you will be expected to:

• Contribute to the ongoing development of existing web applications.
• Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components.
• Design, develop and execute functional and automated tests across web, API and integration layers.
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

Qualification

• 3+ years experience as a Software Developer.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies such as Kanban/Agile and tools such as Azure DevOps / Jira.
• Practical and detailed experience of working with web development frameworks such as Angular or React.
• A natural problem-solving attitude.
• Conversant with current industry trends. API Development with C# ASP.Net Core
• Writing automated Unit, Functional, Integration, and End-to-End tests
• Typescript
• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
• Unit Testing (NUnit, MS Test, Jasmine, Moq)
• JavaScript
• HTML, CSS
