Description
KLA RAPID Division is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong foundation in C++ programming and interest in data analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good problem solving and debugging skills and will work on multi threaded and multi process programming environments. Experience with agentic AI development methodologies or hands-on working experience with machine learning ML is a strong plus.
In this role, you will develop inspection and data analysis software for advanced mask inspection systems. You will work closely with experienced software engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithm, and software teams to gain domain knowledge and help solve system level challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop inspection software and data analytics solutions for advanced mask inspection systems.
- Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to define and implement system requirements.
- Optimize and maintain existing codebases to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide support during beta site ramp up and handle escalations from customer sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in C++ programming, object oriented design, and design patterns.
- Strong background in data analysis, including statistical summaries and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in Linux based development environments.
- Strong leadership qualities, teamwork skills, and motivation for team success.
- AI/ML experience with large dataset model development is a plus.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and workflows.
- Familiarity with frontend development stacks such as Qt or other modern UI frameworks (Electron, Gtk).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Singularity) for packaging software services.

Masters Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
