Job Description
Role Summary
Lead engineering delivery for MENA localization, payment integrations, platform modernization, and Amazon ecosystem integrations while ensuring timely and high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and modernization initiatives from Java/Node.js to Amazon Golden Path technologies.
- Manage engineering teams delivering localization, payment, and integration solutions.
- Drive integration with Amazon services including Discoverability, Checkout, and Accounting.
- Oversee design reviews, development quality, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and hypercare activities.
- Ensure technical documentation, SOPs, and engineering standards are maintained.
- Provide leadership during Sev-2 incidents and operational support.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing software engineering teams.
- Experience delivering enterprise applications using Java, Node.js, APIs, and cloud technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and Agile delivery experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage delivery commitments, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience with AWS, localization/i18n, payment platforms, and e-commerce ecosystems.
- Exposure to Amazon services and large-scale system integrations.
