Job Description

  • Our Architect will be responsible for the high-level design and technical blueprint of a software system
  • Main duties include making key technical decisions, defining coding standards and tools, guiding development teams, and ensuring the softwares scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Aligning with business needs is critical
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into a cohesive, functional system
Expectations:
  • Requirements analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and architecture: Create high-level architectural blueprints and design the overall structure of the software, including how different components will interact.
  • Standards and quality: Define and enforce coding standards, technical specifications, and quality assurance protocols to ensure a robust and cohesive product.
  • Technical leadership: Make strategic decisions about technology, platforms, and frameworks, and guide development teams on best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the final product meets all requirements
Skills
  • Technical expertise: A strong understanding of programming, various technologies, and software development methodologies is crucial.
  • Analytical skills: Analyze requirements, identify risks, and making informed technical decisions is essential.
  • Problem-solving: Troubleshoot issues and find solutions for complex technical challenges ensuring the solution lies within architecture boundaries & aligning with business needs.
  • Leadership and communication: The role requires strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Cross-Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Drive alignment across multiple customer teams and partner organizations, ensuring a unified technical direction.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, resolve conflicts, and negotiate architecture decisions among diverse stakeholders.
Communicate architectural strategies and design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
